  • 1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots, apples, plums (prunes), raisins, mangos or bananas.
  • 2 tbsn chopped almonds, pecans or walnuts
  • 2 tbsn wheat germ
  • 1 tbsn brown sugar
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • ground cinnamon to taste


  • In a large bowl, combine the oats, apricots, almonds, wheat germ and brown sugar and toll well to combine.
  • To serve, divide the cereal among 4 bowls and add 1/4 cup of the milk to each. Top with yogurt and dust with cinnamon.


You can store this cereal for up to a week in a tightly covered pint jar.
