Side Leg Raise – Step 1
Lie comfortably on your side on the floor to start the action of a side leg raise.
Step 2
Rest your head on a towel or small pillow so that your neck remains in a straight position relative to your spine.
Step 3
Keep your upper leg straight and bend your lower knee (the one on the ground) so that it forms a right angle.
Step 4
Slowly raise your upper leg into the air as far as your flexibility will allow, then slowly return the leg to the starting position to complete one repetition. Viola! Side Leg Raise! Repeat 9 more times to complete one set of 10 repetitions. Then switch legs and perform 10 repetitions on the other leg.
